ESPN, in conjunction with Sportvision, will launch a new, enhanced view of
the strike zone during its Sunday-night Major League Baseball game
telecasts.
The 'ESPN K Zone' will accurately outline the strike-zone boundaries for
viewers and will appear in selected replays as a shaded, 3-D, see-through box,
the network said.
The technology was scheduled to debut during ESPN's July 1 New York
Mets-Atlanta Braves telecast.
