ESPN Announces Winter X Games Sponsors

ESPN announced the sponsorship roster for its upcoming Winter X Games competition in Aspen and Snowmass, Colo.

PepsiCo Inc.’s Mountain Dew, The Gillette Co.’s Right Guard Extreme Sport, Taco Bell Corp. and DaimlerChrysler’s Jeep all returned as gold-level sponsors, according to network officials.

On the associate level, DC Shoes Inc., Sony Electronics Corp.’s PlayStation 2 and Hershey Foods Corp.’s Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are all back, while first-time sponsors at this level include Kuhmo Tire Co. Inc., the U.S. Navy and Warner Bros. Pictures film Starsky & Hutch.

The value of sponsorship packages was not disclosed. However, benefits include spots on ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN.com (msn.espn.go.com); pages in ESPN-The Magazine; on-site signage; and hospitality opportunities. In addition, each gold sponsor receives ads on ESPN Radio.
