Ensequence has launched PROMOTIONS+, a new advertising product that allows consumers to request a reminder text message for an upcoming television program via an interactive prompt displayed during that program’s promotional spot. The product aims to increase viewer engagement with a particular network while providing a convenient method for viewers to keep track of a network's programming schedule.
The product has launched with early adopter WE tv on some Samsung Smart TVs. WE tv has run three campaigns thus far, with 25% of consumers who interacted with the spot opting for a text message reminder of the program’s air date. The initial reaction rates were 3%.
Ensequence plans to expand its distribution partners beyond Samsung as it continues to test the success of the promotional product.
