New York -- EnReach Technology Inc. is joining the growing list of set-top
vendors wooing cable operators with next-generation digital boxes capable of
handling a variety of advanced services.
EnReach is slated to show off its 'EMC-300' broadband-media-center device at
the Kagan Interactive TV Summit here Thursday.
The model, according to company officials, can accommodate an array of
interactive-TV, video-on-demand and home-networking services, similar to
advanced set-top formats introduced over the last month by Motorola Broadband
Communications Sector and Moxi Digital Inc., as well as the Sony Electronics
Corp. set-tops now being deployed in Cablevision Systems Corp.'s Long Island,
N.Y., systems.
