EchoStar Communications Corp., Sirius Satellite Radio and RadioShack Corp. announced the formation of a satellite-entertainment alliance Thursday.
Under terms of the agreement, EchoStar’s Dish Network will be the only direct-broadcast satellite service offered by RadioShack stores, and Sirius will be the only satellite-radio service.
Also, EchoStar will make Sirius’ music programming available to most of its 9 million Dish Network subscribers.
RadioShack has more than 7,000 stores throughout the United States.
