EB Games to Sponsor 'G-Phoria' Events

G4, the Comcast Corp.-owned video-game cable network, announced Monday that
EB Games will be the presenting sponsor of various "G-Phoria" events, including
the first annual Glow Awards.

That two-hour special honoring the video-game industry will air July 30.

Other "G-Phoria" events will include The Path to G-Phoria, five
half-hour specials, due throughout the summer, each focusing on a different
aspect (from actors and musicians to athletes and game developers);
Pre-Phoria, due in May as a one-hour special on the Glow Awards
nominees; weekly G-Phoria segments, airing from May through July on the
network's talk show, G4TV.com, and its news program, Pulse; and an
hour-long G-Phoria wrap-up special, set for August.

EB, a specialty retailer of video games and accessories, will also sponsor
the "EB Gamers Choice Award," based on votes gathered solely at its 800 stores
nationwide. That vote will be promoted in spots on G4.

Meanwhile, G4 plans to support the overall G-Phoria package on its own air
and its Web site (www.g4tv.com), as well as
with spots on other youth-appeal cable networks.
