E! Taps Programming Exec Berger

Furthering its commitment to original production, E! Networks has named Fox
and MTV Networks veteran Lisa Berger senior vice president, programming
development.

In her new role, Berger -- who will report to Mark Sonnenberg, executive VP,
entertainment, E! Networks -- is charged with leading the development activities
for E! Entertainment Television and Style, collaborating with the outside
creative community and forging key relationships within the entertainment
industry.

Most recently, she served as executive producer for The WB Television
Network's Boarding House: North Shore, which aired this past summer.

Prior to that, she served for four years as executive VP, creative affairs
for Fox Television Studios Production, where she was instrumental in bringing FX
The Shield.

Her resume also includes one-dozen years at MTVN, where she was senior VP of
original programming and series development, responsible for Road Rules,
Singled Out and The Jenny McCarthy Show, among others.

Berger will work closely with Jeffrey Shore, senior VP, production, E!
Entertainment Television, who is responsible for some of the network’s most
popular franchises, including The E! True Hollywood Story, The Anna
Nicole Show
and Nearly Famous: Vegas Showgirls.
