E! Recruits New Line’s Greenwald as Programming VP

E! Entertainment Television Wednesday named Beth Greenwald its vice president of  original programming and series development, to oversee the development of programs and collaborate with the creative community on behalf of the network.

In addition. E! has integrated its talent development and casting group into the network's programming team, with Jason Salarnis promoted to director of original programming and series development

Greenwald joins E! from New Line Television, where she was a senior development executive and oversaw production and development for the studio’s television division. She previously was an executive at RDF USA and oversaw The Two Coreys at A&E Nework and developed How to Look Good Naked with Carson Kressley for Lifetime Television.

Before RDF, Greenwald worked in series development for MTV Networks where she developed and oversaw numerous shows, including Pimp My Ride and Next. Greenwald previously ran the story department at Showtime Networks and later managed series entertainment for the network.

Greenwald joins Damla Dogan, vice president of original programming and series development and Salarnis as a key member of the E! team under Lisa Berger, executive vice president of original programming and series development. 

E!’s talent development and casting group has also joined the network's team, including executives Jennifer Danska, vice president, and Annie Roberts, director, who pursue new talent for the network for series and pilot development opportunities.
