DMX Music announced Wednesday that it has acquired the assets of Gemar Inc.,
a local sound and video contractor and DMX affiliate, and added its Hartford,
Conn., base as its 25th local sales office.
DMX, a wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Digital Inc., claimed in a press
release to be 'the fastest-growing business-music service.'
The former Gemar office will service Hartford and three other Connecticut
cities, as well as western New England.
