Disney Channel plans to support its new Kim Possible series, which
launches June 7, with a consumer sweepstakes.
In partnership with Hollywood Entertainment Corp.'s Hollywood Video, Disney
plans to run its 'Kim Possible Go Global Instant Win Sweepstakes' through
July 28.
The grand prize is a 14-day trip for four to Disneyland Resort Paris and
Tokyo Disney Resort, plus one year's worth of free video rentals from Hollywood
Video. The companies also plan to award a pair of 'Kimmunicator' walkie-talkie
radios to 100 first-prize winners.
Game pieces for the contest will be distributed at the 1,800 Hollywood Video
locations, which will help to promote the new series through in-store video
monitors. Disney Channel will also direct viewers to the stores to receive free
game pieces.
