Disney Dominates ‘NAACP Image Awards’ Nominations

Four of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s five "Image Award" nominations went to Disney Channel stars, the network said.
The NAACP Image Awards honor projects and individuals that support positive images for people of color in arts and entertainment.
Disney nominations went to Raven, star of sitcom That's So Raven; Lynn Whitfield for original movie The Cheetah Girls; and Kyla Pratt and Tommy Davidson for The Proud Family.
The 35th NAACP Image Awards ceremony will be held March 6.
