Las Vegas -- Discovery Communications Inc. plans to test and
develop interactive programming through Kobalt Interactive's platform under an
agreement the interactive-TV company announced at the National Association of
Television Programming Executives convention here Tuesday.
Kobalt has already added interactive elements to Discovery's Desert
Mummiesof Peru program, which it is demonstrating in its booth at
the NATPE show.
The companies haven't yet announced plans for Discovery to commercially
deploy Kobalt's interactive-TV platform through its cable
