Discovery Signs Perrette to New Employment Pact

Discovery Networks International CEO JB Perrette signed a new three-year employment deal with the programmer that will expire June 30, 2019.

According to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Perrette will receive a base salary of $1.7 million and be eligible for an annual bonus of up to 150% of his base. In addition, Perrette will be recommended to receive 100,000 shares of performance-based restricted stock units and additional PRSUs with a target value of $1.5 million.

Perrette joined Discovery in 2011 after more than a decade at NBCUniversal. He was named president of DNI in 2014.
