Bob Sitrick was promoted to senior vice president of live production and special projects for Discovery Networks U.S.
Sitrick, a 30-year television-production veteran, had been VP of live production and special projects.
In his new role, he will oversee strategic planning and operational aspects of all of the programmer’s live events and provide technical oversight and guidance for special network-event productions.
