DirecTV Inc. subscribers who buy pay-per-view movies by the end of the month
are eligible for free $5 gift cards at participating Blockbuster Video
stores.
To get the free cards, subscribers must take their monthly bills showing the
May PPV purchases to the video stores before the promotion ends in
September.
As part of a joint marketing arrangement, Blockbuster helps to brand
DirecTV's PPV movies. Blockbuster also signs new DirecTV customers at its
stores.
