Making DirecTV Inc.’s "NFL Sunday Ticket" out-of-market package and
high-definition set-tops even more attractive to the high-end subscribers cable
operators covet, the direct-broadcast satellite provider cut a deal with CBS to
offer Sunday Ticket subscribers the primary National Football League game each
week from the network’s 17-week regular-season schedule in HD.
Look for DirecTV to soon announce a similar deal to get Fox’s games in
HD.
