The Rich Eisen podcast will soon become The Rich Eisen Show, as the NFL Network analyst has been given his own daily program on DirecTV.
The show will debut October 6 on DirecTV's Audience Network from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. E.T. In Pittsburgh, Denver and Seattle, the show will air on the region's corresponding ROOT Sports channel. The show will have a talk show format familiar to fans of Eisen's podcast, with the host providing football analysis as well as interviews with the league's players and coaches.
The show will also be available on NFL's newly-launched digital platform NFL Now.
"We are excited to be able to distribute The Rich Eisen Show to fans on NFL Now. Rich's personality and passion for the NFL will be an excellent addition to the original and historic content from the very best of NFL Media, the 32 NFL clubs, and NFL Films," said Tom Brady, vice president of content, NFL Media, in a statement.
