Exton, Pa.-The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers(SCTE) said technology forecaster Daniel Burrus will keynote the organization's 2001 "Conference on Emerging Technologies" on Jan. 9 in New Orleans.
Burrus, the founder and CEO of Burrus Research Associates Inc. and the author ofTechnotrends, has a track record of predicting technology trends and future applications, including the adoption of fiber optics as a broadband medium and interactive television.
