The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing promoted Seth Morrison to senior vice president and general manager of corporate initiatives. He had been senior VP of marketing.
Morrison has led CTAM’s “Only Cable Can” partnerships with consumer-electronics manufacturers and retailers, overseeing management of the CTAM MSO Marketing Co-op. He has also overseen management of the Cable Movers Hotline and the On Demand Consortium.
CTAM CEO Char Beales said Morrison will also continue managing the business end of the trade group’s conferences.
A 26-year cable industry veteran, Morrison worked for US West Communications and Viacom Cable before joining CTAM in 1997.
