CTAM Board Names 2009 Officers

The Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing board of directors Monday unveiled its 2009 officers, including its new chairman, Sean R.H. Bratches, the executive vice president of sales and marketing at ESPN.

Bratches, who previously served as vice chair, succeeds Joe Rooney, who will complete his two-year term at the end of this year.

Steven Miron, CEO of Bright House Networks, will replace Bratches as vice chair. Eric Kessler, co-president at HBO, will continue to serve as secretary and Samuel Howe, Time Warner Cable’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer, will remain as treasurer.

All four were elected during the marketing association’s November meeting in Boston.

"CTAM is a dynamic organization that provides essential services to MSOs and programmers,” Bratches said in a statement. “I look forward to helping CTAM and cable grow during my tenure as Chair.”
