CSTV Scores Comcast Chicago, Indiana Systems
CSTV Networks said it will launch on Comcast Systems in Chicago and South Bend, Ind. Beginning June 27.
Under the previously announced deal, both systems will launch the 24-hour college sports network on their respective sports Entertainment Package tiers, although the network would not reveal specific subscriber numbers.
The Comcast Chicago and South Bend carriage agreement comes on the heels of network MSO launches with Time Warner Cable (Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem); Cox Communications (Tulsa; Charter -- Ft. Worth;);RCN (Chicago, Boston, New York and Philadelphia); and Advanced Cable (Weston and Coral Springs, Florida).
CSTV now counts more than 21 million homes.
