Attorneys at Schatz & Nobel P.C. filed a suit seeking class-action status
against Credit Suisse First Boston Corp., alleging that the firm and one of its
analysts issued misleading reports on AOL Time Warner Inc. in an attempt to win
investment-banking business from the media giant.
The suit alleged that one CSFB electronic mail instructed its AOL analyst not
to lower the numbers on AOL 'even though they can't make
them.'
