NEW YORK -Capitalizing on the public's interest in investigative forensics, Courtroom Television Network
has ordered 26 additional episodes of the original, fact-based series Forensic Files, officials said last week.
Court TV plans to start airing Forensic Files
-which is in effect the real-life documentary counterpart to the fictional CBS hit CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
-five nights a week, starting Feb. 12. The show will remain at its current 7:30 p.m. time slot, where it now airs Monday through Thursday.
The crime-and-justice network also plans to air two hour-long documentary specials on forensic science in the fourth quarter.
