Comcast Technology Solutions Signs on Game Show Network

Comcast Technology Solutions has announced a new deal with the Game Show Network (GSN), in which the technology services provider will offer video workflow management, publication, distribution and monetization services to the programmer.

Under the agreement, Comcast will provide channel origination and transmission servers for GSN HD, while also delivering asset management support.

GSN HD’s simulcast feed includes a mix of classic TV game shows and reality competition series.

“We selected Comcast Technology Solutions in part because of the company’s ability to extend its end-to-end media asset management solution and work flows to Game Show Network, giving us a complete end-to-end content processing and metadata capture solution,” said Ryan Tredinnick, senior VP, broadcast operations at Game Show Network, in a statement.
