Comcast Teams Up with United Way

Comcast Corp. Tuesday announced a national and local partnership with United Way of America.

The MSO joined United Way’s National Corporate Leadership program.

This past May, Comcast teamed up with City Year, a national service organization for young people ages 17-24.

Comcast will launch its companywide United Way giving campaign simultaneously across the country. The campaign, which will run Nov. 3-14, will assist United Way by providing consistent messaging through co-branded materials and turnkey resources for local United Way chapters.

The MSO’s charitable arm, The Comcast Foundation, will also allocate grants to local United Way chapters based on local employee participation and results of their giving campaigns.
