More than 600 RadioShack Corp. stores have been added to the list of those
offering Comcast Corp.'s "Comcast High-Speed Internet" service.
Comcast High-Speed Internet is now is offered in more than 1,250 RadioShack
stores throughout the MSO's Eastern, Midwest, Southern and mid-Atlantic
footprint.
Upon buying service at RadioShack, customers receive a special introductory
price of $19.99 per month for three months. With rebates, modem purchases are
free through June 30.
"We're pleased to expand this retail relationship with RadioShack," Comcast
vice president of retail sales Chris Caffrey said in a release. "The interaction
between knowledgeable and personable sales staff and customers is invaluable in
promoting the benefits of a high-speed, always-on Internet
service."
