Comcast Cable Communications Inc. has launched video-on-demand in New
Jersey's Monmouth and Ocean counties -- two systems that serve 117,000 basic
subscribers.
The launch brings to more than 3 million the number of Comcast homes that
have access to VOD.
Hit movies are priced at $3.95, library titles at $2.95 and children's shows,
concerts and specials at 95 cents to $1.95.
