Comcast Goes for Court

New York - After months of trying negotiations, Court TV
and Comcast Corp. have hammered out a carriage extension, officials said
Friday.

Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed. Since its merger with AT&T
Broadband, Comcast Corp. has now done affiliation-agreement extensions with not
only Court TV but Showtime Networks Inc. and Oxygen.

"This amicable resolution not only addresses the financial and growth
concerns of both Court TV and Comcast but does so in a manner that enhances the
partnership," Court TV CEO Henry Schleiff said in a prepared statement.

At Comcast, executive vice president of programming Matt Bond said,
"Continuing to carry Court TV is important to us because of the valuable service
they provide to our customers.'
