New York-The Walt Disney Co. last Friday granted Comcast Corp. a retransmission-consent extension for its ABC Inc. owned-and-operated broadcast stations, officials from both companies said.
Comcast already had at least one extension that was set to expire Sunday, Oct. 15. Officials wouldn't say the expiration date for Friday's extension.
Comcast has systems in several DMAs in which ABC owns stations, including New York and Philadelphia.
