Dan Lothian is joining Cable News Network as Boston bureau chief, executive
vice president and national managing editor of CNN domestic newsgathering Keith
McAllister announced Monday.
Lothian comes to CNN from NBC News, where he most recently worked seven years
as a Los Angeles-based correspondent. Before that, he reported for WCVB-TV in
Boston.
He will assume his new post in June.
"Dan is a seasoned journalist with a storyteller's gift," McAllister said in
a release. "We've long admired the agility and intelligence of his
work."
