CNBC To Reveal First 25 List

As part of the network’s 25th anniversary celebration, CNBC will reveal its final, ranked list of First 25: rebels, icons and leaders on Tuesday, April 29. The list, selected from a pool of 200 candidates, will commemorate the top 25 most influential individuals who caused changes and disruption in the business world throughout the past 25 years. 

The unveiling of the list will also be available via CNBC.com, in conjunction with the live, on-air programming. CNBC’s Tyler Mathisen will host a one-hour special focusing on the list’s top five candidates and reflecting on the full list beginning at 7 p.m. ET. 

The list was selected by CNBC’s top editors, along with an advisory board featuring former Wall Street Journal Managing Editor and ProPublica Executive Chairman and Founding Editor Paul E. Steiger, Senior Associate Dean at the Yale School of Management Jeffrey Sonnenfield and Cora Chaired Professor of Leadership and Learning and INSEAD Professor of Organizational Behavior Herminia Ibarra. Former executive editor of ForbesPaul Maidment also serves as a contributing editor to the list.
