CN8 Adds Live Shows, Kane

CN8: The Comcast Network Thursday announced the addition of three hours of
daily live programming to its lineup.
A new morning show, CN8 Today, will air weekdays from 9 a.m. to 11
a.m. and feature the latest in lifestyle, fitness, cooking and entertainment, as
well as providing the day's top news stories.
Also, a new afternoon edition of CN8 News, CN8 News Midday, is
set to air weekdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Both shows are scheduled to premiere this spring.
In other CN8 news, former KYW-TV anchor Larry Kane is joining the network as
an off-air media consultant.
Kane has worked in the news arena in Philadelphia for more than 36 years. He
recently retired from CBS affiliate KYW-TV after almost 10 years as anchor of
its 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts.
