CMT Sweeps Draws 2.7M Entries

Country Music Television's sweepstakes tied to its primetime series,
Ultimate Country Home, pulled 2.7 million entries.

The winner, a Bremen, Ind., resident, was featured during the one-hour series
finale Sunday. She won a 3,600-square-foot house designed by 13 country-music
performers and a 2003 Kia Motors America Inc. Sorento EX, with her prize worth a
combined $500,000-plus, according to the network.

CMT reported that that sweeps was its largest yet.

CMT will repeat the Ultimate Country Home series in a July 4 marathon,
from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The series and the contest involved Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse and
Better Homes & Gardens.
