Charter Business Networks, a division of Charter Communications Inc., signed
a deal with SalesForce.com Inc. (www.salesforce.com/us/) to provide
online customer-relationship management software for Charter Business'
high-speed-data, video and Internet services for the enterprise market.
Salesforce.com said the software helps Charter by shortening the sales cycle
and improving lead capture.
"With SalesForce.com's `Enterprise Edition,' we were able to create more than
150 custom fields in-house, without expensive consultants," said Mia Sciandra
