CBS Net Puts Alt Games on VOD

NEW YORK — CBS College Sports Network, for the third straight year, is providing alternative, on-demand
sports action to 15 video providers for free.
Beginning today (July 26) and through September, CBS College Sports (which on July 22 inked a
rights extension with Conference USA) is proffering eight different VOD assets, in standard- and high definition formats, under "The Alt Games: College Action Sports Championships" banner.
Content covers competition in snowboarding, wakeboarding, flowboarding, beach
volleyball, freeskiing, kayaking and skateboarding from Copper Mountain, Colo., San Diego
and Riverside, Calif. A one-hour special highlights the best overall action from the 2010 Alt
Games.
Olympic gold medalist Jonny Moseley hosts, with reporter Lauren Shehadi.
Participating affiliates include Bend Broadband, Blue Ridge Communications, Charter
Communications, Click! Cable TV, Comcast, Cogeco, Cox Communications, Dish Network,
Frontier, Mid-Continent Communications, San Bruno, Service Electric, Sky Angel, Time Warner
Cable and Wide Open West.
