Dixie Carter and Nancy McKeon will star in Lifetime Television’s original
film, Comfort and Joy, premiering this December.
Carter (Family Law, Designing Women) plays the feisty, meddling
mother of Jane Berry, a high-powered, single, career woman, portrayed by McKeon,
who is knocked unconscious in a Christmas Eve car accident and winds up as a
married stay-at-home mom with two kids.
Elsewhere, Amy Jo Johnson (Felicity), portraying police officer Stacy
Newland, will join McKeon, star of Lifetime’s The Division, when
production begins on the series’ fourth season.
