BETHPAGE, N.Y. -Joe Cantwell, Bravo's executive vice president of new media, has left the network, officials confirmed last week.
Although Cantwell lives in Bethesda, Md., he has commuted to Bravo's offices on Long Island and in New York City for several years now, a Bravo spokeswoman said. The long-distance commute was taking its toll, and Cantwell left Bravo to pursue Internet and new-media opportunities in the Washington area.
Cantwell couldn't be reached for comment.
Bravo hasn't yet named a permanent replacement for Cantwell, who once headed up Bravo's affiliate-sales effort.
