Netgear’s CVD31XT cable voice modem has been certified by CableLabs for DOCSIS 3.0 and PacketCable 1.5, the company announced Thursday.
The Netgear CVD31XT embedded multimedia terminal adapter, which bonds up to four channels to provide up to 160 Mbps download speeds, was certified in CableLabs Certification Wave 64.
The CVD31XT provides two voice lines, USB 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports remote management and provisioning. The eMTA also comes equipped with a backup battery to maintain service during power failures.
