PBI Media LLC, parent of CableFAX Daily
, closed a deal to buy CableWorld
magazine from Primedia Inc. late Monday.
PBI plans to switch CableWorld
from weekly to bimonthly later this month.
Word on financial details or personnel changes was not available other than a release stating, "Key editors and contributors to the magazine will remain with the title, augmented and expanded by PBI Media’s staff."
