Cable Show: Intraway Debuts ‘Real-Time’ Service Activation

OSS/BSS firm Intraway said it will use this week’s show in Los Angeles to rollout its Real-Time Universal Service Activation platform, claiming it can work on a range of mobile and fixed networks, including those that are based on DOCSIS, WiFi, WiMax, DSL, 3G, and Long-Term Evolution technologies.

The company said the benefits of the unified platform include simplified introduction of new multi-play products, the ability to set business rules between multiple access technologies as operators form their fixed-mobile convergence strategies, and a single connection to an independent business services system.

Among recent wins, Intraway announced last week that Mediacom Communications will use its platform to automate the update process of its cable modem network.
