Cable One’s McKenna Joins NCTC’s Board

Jerry McKenna, Cable One Inc.’s vice president of strategic marketing, has been appointed to the National Cable Television Cooperative’s board, officials said Wednesday.

McKenna will serve the unexpired term of Jeff Abbas, former VP of programming for Adelphia Communications Corp., who is now the NCTC’s senior VP of business affairs.

"We look forward to having Jerry’s expertise on the board, and we welcome Cable One’s interest in becoming more active with NCTC," Mike Pandzik, the co-op’s president and CEO, said in a prepared statement.

McKenna, an ex-pilot and captain in the U.S. Air Force, has been with Cable One since 1994.

The NCTC represents more than 1,000 independent cable operators with over 15 million subscribers.
