C-SPAN announced three senior management promotions designed to leverage the network's ongoing investment in cable relations, new media, consumer marketing and educational outreach.
Marty Dominguez was named vice president of marketing, responsible for consumer marketing and communications. Dominguez will also lead the marketing communications staff as well as the network's promotion team.
Peter Kiley was tapped as vice president of affiliate relations. He will direct C-SPAN's business relationships with affiliates, including satellite, satellite radio and emerging technologies.
Joanne Wheeler was elevated to vice president of education relations, in charge of developing innovative materials for government and civics teachers in middle and high schools.
