Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios Hires Bob Boden
Byron Allen-owned Entertainment Studios has hired veteran game show producer Bob Boden as its executive vice president of production and development, the company said Monday.
In his new position, Boden will be involved in all facets of the company’s television productions, including the network’s comedy game show, Funny You Should Ask, said network officials.
Boden will also produce and develop new game and reality projects for Entertainment Studios’ television slate of existing and upcoming projects across multiple platforms – broadcast syndication, cable television, and digital, said the company.
Boden most recently served as executive producer of GSN’s game show The Chase, and previously held positions at ABC, CBS, Game Show Network/GSN, FX, Fox Reality Channel, The Family Channel, Mark Goodson Productions, Dick Clark Productions, and Hasbro Studios.
“I am very excited to have the industry’s preeminent game show guru, Bob Boden, join our team,” said Byron Allen, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Entertainment Studios in a statement. “Bob’s extensive network executive and production experience makes him a great fit for Entertainment Studios as we continue to grow our global media company and invest in premium content.”
