BroadJump Is High on Fixed Wireless

BroadJump Inc. said Sprint Corp. has started to deploy its 'Virtual Truck
Installer' software in one-dozen cities where the telecommunications company
markets 'Sprint Broadband Direct,' its burgeoning broadband fixed-wireless
service.

Sprint marks BroadJump's first fixed-wireless customer. BroadJump's software
is designed to automate the consumer-installation process and to curb or
eliminate the need for pricey service-provider truck rolls.

'With BroadJump's technology, we can enhance the installation process by
offering our fixed-wireless customers a fast and efficient service-activation
experience,' said Evan Conway, assistant vice president of broadband marketing
for Sprint's National Consumer Organization, in a press release.

Sprint said it is introducing BroadJump's software in Wichita, Kan.; Colorado
Springs and Denver, Colo.; Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz.; Houston; Salt Lake City;
Fresno, San Jose and San Francisco, Calif.; Oklahoma City; and Melbourne,
Fla.

Sprint also uses BroadJump's Virtual Truck software for its 'FastConnect'
digital-subscriber-line offering. AT&T Broadband and Road Runner are among
BroadJump's cable-modem-service partners.
