Broadband Week — which originated in Multichannel News before becoming a stand-alone publication last year — has returned to the fold in a move that promises to help MCN enhance its coverage of broadband technology.
Matt Stump, whose duties had been divided between the two publications, is the editor of BW. Karen Brown, BW's senior editor, retains that title. Both are based in Denver. BW will have two regular columnists, alternating weekly: Leslie Ellis, with "Translation Please," and Gary Arlen, whose "Always On" feature appeared in MCN's BW last week.
Jeff Baumgartner, who had overseen MCN's "Inside Broadband" section, has become assistant editor of Cahners Business Information sister publication CED. And Paul Audino, who was BW's associate publisher and advertising director, has returned to MCN as associate publisher/broadband sales.
These moves reflect MCN's continuing commitment to provide readers with comprehensive coverage of broadband technology developments in cable and other telecommunications industries.
