Bloomberg Viewers Have Big Bucks

According to the recently released Mendelsohn Affluent Survey, Bloomberg Television's viewers boast the highest median household income and the highest median total assets of any cable network measured.

The 2003 Mendelsohn survey polled consumers with annual household incomes of at least $75,000.

Among its findings:

• Bloomberg was the only cable network measured with an audience with median total assets of more than $1 million ($1,004,688).

• Median household income for Bloomberg viewers was $118,710, tops among cable networks measured.

• The network’s audience is 178% more likely to work in finance and 99% more likely to be a top executive than the average survey respondent.
