Beyoncé PPV Event Set for June

Spring Communications will team up with Ford Motor Co. next month to present
a live pay-per-view music event featuring actress and singer Beyoncé Knowles.

The June 14 event -- part of Ford's 100th-anniversary celebration
-- will feature musical performances by Knowles, lead singer of rhythm-and-blues
group Destiny's Child, as well as group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle
Williams and Knowles' sister, Solange, Spring president John Rubey said.

The event will retail at a suggested price of $9.95.

Rubey said the low price, as well as the appeal of Knowles -- who starred in
last summer's box-office hit, Austin Powers in Goldmember, and a previous
performance by Destiny's Child, the most lucrative PPV-music event of 2001 --
should bode well for the buy-rate.

The event will be promoted in Vogue, Glamour and The New
Yorker
.
