BET Reality Series Sets Net Ratings Mark

Black Entertainment Television’s Jan. 25 premiere of its College Hill reality series set a network ratings high for a series premiere.

The skein -- chronicling the lives of eight students at Southern University -- averaged a 1.41 rating, besting the 0.93 garnered by the Jan. 23, 2003, primetime premiere of music-video show 106 & Park, network executives said.

Edmonds Entertainment (Showtime’s Soul Food) is producing the 13-part reality series for BET.
