Eliminating a major complaint of viewers and operators, Black Entertainment
Television said it will drop all infomercial programming beginning July 1.
The network will replace approximately 50 hours of paid programming -- mostly
during early morning and weekend blocks -- with gospel, public-affairs,
music-video and movie programming, executives said.
