Actor Tom Berenger (Gettysburg, Platoon) will play the role of
famed college-football coach Paul 'Bear' Bryant in ESPN's original cable movie,
The Junction Boys, slated to debut Dec. 14.
The movie, an ESPN Original Entertainment production, is based on the
best-selling book by Jim Dent that tells the true story of 35 players who
survived Coach Bryant's harrowing Texas A&M preseason training camp in
Junction, Texas, in the 1950s.
